Our silicone leather material has been tested and certified by SGS Taiwan Ltd., a globally recognized independent inspection and certification organization.

The product underwent antibacterial activity assessment following the AATCC 147-2016 standard, targeting common bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.

Test results confirmed:

  • No bacterial growth detected on the tested surfaces.

  • Clear zones of inhibition against Staphylococcus aureus.

  • No growth detected against Escherichia coli.

This certification verifies that our material exhibits effective antibacterial properties, ensuring a hygienic and safe experience for consumers.

The tests were performed in accordance with RoHS 2011/65/EU Annex II and its amendment Directive (EU) 2015/863, checking for restricted substances including Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent Chromium (Cr(VI)), Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBBs), Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDEs), and phthalates (DBP, BBP, DEHP, DIBP).

Test results confirmed that all restricted substances are below the limits set by the RoHS directive, ensuring our product meets stringent environmental and safety standards.

This certification guarantees that our product is environmentally friendly, safe for consumer use, and compliant with international hazardous substance regulations.

The analysis was conducted using advanced techniques such as ICP-OES, GC/MS, LC/MS, and others, to detect and quantify restricted substances.

Key results:

  • All tested substances were found at concentrations ≤ 0.1% (w/w), which is below the threshold requiring notification under REACH.

  • Compliance ensures the product is safe and environmentally friendly, meeting stringent EU chemical safety standards.

  • This certification supports your supply chain communication obligations under REACH.

To ensure product safety and meet high industry standards, our silicone leather underwent vertical flame testing (UL 94-2023 Section 8) conducted by SGS Taiwan.

Test Highlights:

  • Test Method: UL 94 vertical burning test

  • Sample Size: 125 mm × 13 mm × 0.81 mm

  • Conditioning: As-received and aged (70°C for 168h)

  • Result: Achieved V-0 classification – the highest rating under this test method

  • Conclusion: PASS – no ignition of cotton by flaming particles or drips, no afterglow reaching the clamp

This V-0 rating demonstrates our material's excellent flame-retardant capability, making it a safe and reliable choice for automotive interior applications, where stringent fire safety standards are essential.

To ensure suitability for demanding environments, our silicone leather (Style No. SRBG001) was tested by SGS Taiwan for both water resistance and water repellency.

Test Results Summary:

Water Resistance – Rain Test (AATCC 35-2018)

  • Method: 600 mm hydrostatic head, 2 minutes

  • Result: ≤0.1g of water penetration

  • Conclusion: Meets U.S. Customs criteria for water-resistant fabrics (≤1.0g)

Water Repellency – Spray Test (CNS 10461 L3202:2012)

  • Result: 4–5 (on all 3 specimens)

  • Interpretation: Indicates no sticking or wetting to only slight random wetting on the upper surface

  • Rating Scale: 5 = Excellent; 0 = Fully saturated

These results demonstrate the material’s strong resistance to water penetration and surface wetting, making it highly suitable for automotive, furniture, and outdoor upholstery applications where moisture protection is essential.
